My wife, Kellie and I run Heirloom Welding out of our shop in Mansfield, Texas.

Are you tired of things that fall apart in a year? Me too.

I started with a swingset. I'm a dad to an autistic young man, so I know what a typical store-bought set goes through. I build sets for kids and adults with special needs and autism, sets that won’t fall apart or wear out.

From there I expanded to monkey bars, see saws, and jungle gyms. I added CNC cutting to my shop and now I’m doing decorative cable railing, branding irons, and fence inserts.

When I’m not in the shop, I drive a school bus part time for the school district. Kellie is an athletics coordinator and coach at a middle school. She’s also my partner in this business.

We named it Heirloom because that’s the goal: something your family keeps using for years, made by people you can actually talk to.
